MegaHoot’s A.I. Division ZecureHive Sets Release Date of its Social Distance Monitor, Makes it Available to Small U.S. Businesses Free of Charge
It was announced today that American software and technology company, MegaHoot, has set the release date of the ZecureHive Social Distance Monitor desktop application. The desktop application will be available for download on zecurehive.com on August 19, 2020 for Windows systems.
ZecureHive is the Artificial Intelligence division of MegaHoot and is developing systems that include A.I., machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, facial recognition/detection and other types of detection. The systems work with most any IP camera system and have a base model that is customizable for the end user to include features such as heat detection, night vision, weapon detection, people count, mask detection, social distance monitoring, attendance taking, facial recognition and many others in development.
There are three different base models that are set to be released in 2020/21, the first of which is the ZecureHive Social Distance Monitor. This system’s base model monitors the following:
- Social Distance: this monitors the distance between two or more people, the CDC recommends that 6 feet is an appropriate distance to combat contracting a virus such as Covid-19, so the system monitors that distance and alerts the systems administration when a person is within 4 feet as a warning and then at 6 feet when its violating generally accepted social distancing guidelines.
- Mask Detection: this monitors whether a person is wearing a mask or not, if they are not then the systems administrators receives a notification on the system. This is also a CDC recommendation to combat contracting a virus such as Covid-19.
- Face Detection: this detects a person’s face, it is not facial recognition, it is face detection technology.
- People Count: this keeps count of the people in the video stream as well as it can be set to give a total people count for foot traffic purposes daily.
The Social Distance Monitor with the above features is being offered Free of Charge to any verified small business through out the United States that utilizes IP cameras at their place of business. Consideration will be given to foreign small businesses on a case by case basis. This is being done in an effort to help small businesses stay in compliance with current social distancing guidelines through out the United States and be a tool for them to show irrefutable proof that they are in compliance to avoid potentially heavy fines being imposed by local officials. Small businesses will have the option to upgrade to include premium features but it is not required in order to use the base model.
The second system that will be released this fall will be the ZecureHive Buildings Monitor system, this system will include all that is in the Social Distance Monitor system as well as weapons detection (over 20,000 types), facial recognition and other features that would be customized for each premium user, including branding options.
The third system that will be released late fall will be the ZecureHive Industrial Monitor system, this will is customized for each client and will include all that is included in the Social Distance Monitor as well as facial recognition, uniform detection, mass worker check in for a contactless and time saving process, worker count and attendance, station monitoring and more. This will include branding options for the client.
“Our team is thrilled that we are able to do something to help small businesses in the United States during these trying times. So many small businesses are struggling to keep their doors open while trying to stay in compliance with the social distancing guidelines in their cities. Some are facing massive fines while others are trying to show customers that they are doing all they can to stay in compliance for their safety. So offering verified U.S. small businesses the ZecureHive Social Distance Monitor is how we can help, it cost a small business not a penny for the base system which is more than most premium systems would charge. We are here for America and utilizing technology to help small businesses the way that we can.” stated Louis Velazquez, MegaHoot CEO.
